Ski Federation of Ukraine

The Ski Federation of Ukraine is recognized by the Ministry of Ukraine for Family, Youth and Sports and National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian legislation the Ski Federation of Ukraine has the status of National Ski Federation with the main authority to promote and develop the ski sports in Ukraine, as well as the exclusive right to organize the official national and international events on the territory of the country. Following the structure of FIS our Federation combines all the six Olympic ski disciplines: Alpine, Snowboarding, Cross-country (with Rollerski as part of it), Ski jumping, Nordic combined and Freestyle.

We closely cooperate with the Ministry and NOC. Many of our members work in the governmental structures: the Ministry itself, the regional state sport administrations. Two representatives of the federation’s Council (Presidium) are the members of the National Olympic Committee.
