Let's help Cross-Country World Champion Oleksandr Batiuk to restore his house

Dear Ski Friends, 

Everybody in his life sometimes meets difficult situations, which can't be solved alone. Ukrainian cross-country veteran, World champion in 1982, Wolrd silveer medalist in 1987 and Olympic silver medallist in 1984 Oleksandr Batiuk got his house ruined from the very beginning of Russian aggression in early March 2022. As bordering region Chernihiv area, where Oleksandr lived all his life, suffered mostly from bombing and shelling, having destroyed 75% of Oleksandr's house. In March, 2022 famous skier underwent heart surgery. Now Oleksandr and his wife Tetiana are working hard to restore their house and have a place to live. 

The Ski Federation of Ukraine partly supported Oleksandr, but there is still a lot to do.
